BEGIN YOUR Care
“Women are not small men.” - Dr. Marcia Stefanick (women’s health researcher, Stanford)
Services
At The Pink Clinic, every service is built around one thing. To give you the time, expertise, and attention your health deserves. We specialise in hormonal health across the lifespan, supporting women through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.
All care is delivered by an Endorsed Nurse Practitioner with full prescribing authority, in accordance with national clinical guidelines.
Assessment
Every consultation begins with us actually listening. We take a thorough history of your symptoms, your hormonal health, and how you're feeling across all areas of your life. Nothing is dismissed and nothing is too small.
Your assessment may include:
Review of current health concerns and symptoms
Menstrual, hormonal, and reproductive history
Medical history, medications, and relevant investigations
Mental wellbeing and sleep assessment
Lifestyle, social, and life-stage factors that may influence health
If blood tests or other investigations would help, we will arrange them and explain exactly what we're looking for and why.
Diagnosis & Clinical Understanding
Where appropriate, we'll give you a clear explanation of what's happening in your body and why. No vague reassurances; just honest, evidence-based answers.
Diagnosis is always discussed with you, including:
the clinical reasoning behind it
how it informs treatment options
alternative approaches where a formal diagnosis is not required
In some situations, a diagnosis may not be necessary. Supportive care and symptom-focused management can still be provided based on your preferences and clinical needs.
Management Plan
Your Nurse Practitioner will work with you to develop a personalised management plan tailored to your health goals and circumstances.
Management plans may include:
Education about hormonal and mid-life health changes
Lifestyle and wellbeing strategies (e.g. sleep, stress, activity)
Medication management where appropriate
Monitoring and follow-up planning
Referral to other health professionals if required
All plans are developed collaboratively and reviewed over time as your needs change.
Interventions & Ongoing Care
We're not a one-appointment fix. We're here for the long term with the aim to prioritise that you see the same clinician, who knows your history, supporting you as your needs change.
Depending on your needs, care may include:
Ongoing review and monitoring of symptoms
Medication prescribing including HRT where appropriate
Education and supportive counselling
Coordination with your GP or other providers to support integrated care
Prescriptions are issued electronically where appropriate, with clear instructions and follow-up planning.
Reports & Letters
Reports and supporting documentation may be prepared upon request and may incur an additional fee.
These may include:
Specialist referral letters
Medical summaries
Workplace or education support letters
Other health-related documentation as clinically appropriate
